40 minute scenic drive. Perhaps a visit to Lake Superior (1-hour drive) could turn into an all-day event! Let us pack you a lunch or a snack to take with on your adventure!

Enjoy an opportunity to experience the wonders of the Northwoods while on an E-bike riding through the Conover/Phelps bike trail, located a few feet off the property. While staying at our B&B, you will have the ability to rent a fat-tire E-bike allowing for a comfortable ride for a short trip or a whole day! You can make arrangements for the reservation of an E-bike; $20/hour, $40/half day, $60/whole day, upon your booking inquiry.

While staying at our B&B, the possibility of experiencing an ATV/UTV ride is available! Eric offers a Historical UTV ride down old Military Road, enjoying both the scenery and the wildlife! Eric, a pro-driver, also offers an adventure-filled ride on the best, thrilling trails around!

Phelps, WI offers miles and miles of beautiful, serene and exciting snowmobile trails that can be enjoyed by all!
Enjoy the convenience of direct access to the snowmobile trails from the property. Our parking allows for trucks and trailers with the ease of a pull-through driveway.
Enjoy events hosted just a short 15 minutes away in Eagle River, WI, the "Snowmobile Capital of the World"!
Our B&B is outfitted to accommodate snowmobilers of all types!

Snowmobiling
OWC Bed & Breakfast was built on the shore of North Twin Lake, which offers 2,871 acres of fish-filled water. At a maximum depth of 60 feet, you might catch anything from muskies and walleyes to panfish and bass. North Twin Lake freezes with a foot of ice in the winter offering the opportunity for some great ice fishing as well!

Fishing
During your stay, you can find a multitude of other fun activities to enjoy safely with family. Snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, hiking and biking are just a few!
The newly completed Phelps-Conover trail allows for a scenic bike ride or tranquil walk. The trailhead is just a few steps away from our front door. Additionally, the lake offers a wonderful open area to play on when frozen in the winter!
Silent sports
Old World Charm B&B is just down the road from a fantastic ice cream shop. Just a short walk away, Sweets, Treats, and More offers countless flavors of ice cream from waffle cones to banana splits! It's a wonderful place to take a break and cool down on those hot summer days.

Phelps Museum
The town of Phelps is rooted in a rich history of early Wisconsin heritage. With a major background as a logging city, the Phelps Museum is a great place to learn more about the town and way of life of those that came before us, including the Christiansen family.
Open May through September, the museum is bursting with interesting history. It's a great experience for families, also!
